Raphael came to Savvy Coders with a clear vision—to build on a successful Marketing Research career by adding in-demand IT and data skills. With over two decades of experience at companies like Pragmatic Research, Maritz Research, and Bayer Crop Science, Raphael had honed his expertise in market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer understanding. However, he recognized the evolving landscape of Data Insights and Intelligence and the need to adapt.

“I wanted to diversify my skill set and grasp the fundamental processes of Data Science and Analytics. I understood that agility and tech fluency were becoming critical in today’s data-driven landscape,” he explains.

That’s when he discovered Savvy Coders’ Data Analytics & Python Bootcamp, which provided exactly what he was looking for: hands-on experience, technical depth, and a focus on industry-relevant skills. Over the course of three intensive months, he immersed himself in Python, SQL, and Tableau, while also adopting Agile methodologies, earning two key certifications along the way.

Just weeks after completing the program, Raphael accepted an IT Digital Strategy – Business Analyst role at BJC, one of the region’s leading healthcare systems. He leverages both his strong insights and research background, with his newly acquired analytics skills to drive digital transformation.

“Savvy Coders equipped me with the tools and structure I needed to transition into tech without starting from scratch,” he says. “Now, I’m part of a team that shapes how data informs digital strategy, technology implementation, and decision-making on a large scale.”
